When can I see the property?
We would love for you to see all Southern Springs Events has to offer. The best way to see our property is to schedule a tour. During the tour our professional and trained staff will answer all of your questions and show you the different areas our venue has to offer. A venue tour will take approximately 30-45 minutes. How many guests can the event barn accommodate?
The event barn can accommodate 250 seated guests with enough room for a bar, dance floor, DJ, food buffet and other decorations.
Do we have a smaller room?
Yes, The Drake room is the perfect place for small meetings, birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, bridal showers and small holiday parties. The Drake room holds up to 60 seated guests.
Can we rent the property for photo shoots, festivals, events and concerts?
Yes, we specialize in wedding and events but we can also accommodate so much more. Please contact 270-350-8117 for more information.
Do you allow alcohol?
Yes, we do allow alcohol. However we have our Kentucky Liquor License. All alcohol has to be purchased through Southern Springs Events. We can help you with determining the amount and varieties you would like us to serve to your guests. No outside alcohol can be brought onto the property.
Do you allow outside vendors?
Yes. We do allow outside vendors, however we do have several professionals on staff to help with your wedding and event needs. We have a makeup artist and a caterer on site. We also have a preferred vendor list that we will provide for you. You can contact these excellent professionals that will be a great addition to your vendor team, but you could select vendors of your choice.
Do you have a catering kitchen on site?
Our catering kitchen is located in the event barn. It has a refrigerator, convection oven, oven, stove top, 3 compartment sink, two prep tables and 2 utility carts. There is no fee to use our catering kitchen. Your caterer is responsible for the clean up and trash removal in the catering kitchen.
What type of decorations are prohibited?
We do not allow fake rose petals at the ceremony, they have to be live. We also do not allow confetti, glitter, silly string, fake snow, rice or nails. Please use command strips on the walls.
Do you have a place for a rehearsal dinner?
Yes, the drake room is a great place for a rehearsal dinner. This space is included in our Southern Splendid package.
Do you have a damage deposit?
Yes we do. The damage deposit is 100% refundable.
Who cleans after my event?
Standard cleaning policy is included in your event packages. Any damage after the event will be assessed after your event and taken out of your damage deposit.
When is my balance due?
Your balance is due 4 weeks before your event date. At this time we will also need your finalized guest count.
Do you provide linens?
No, however you can rent linens from us. Our standard solid color table linens rent for $10.00 each. They are pressed and placed on your tables before you arrive. We also take care of washing them.
If I do not rent my linens from you what size table linens do I need to get?
Our round tables require a 120 inch round table linen and our 6 ft tables require a 90 x 132. (Linens will slightly touch the ground if you order the suggested size)
Do you provide tables and chairs?
Yes we have 260 x back natural wood chairs, 260 white padded chairs, 45 round 5 foot tables and 100 rectangular 6 foot tables. We also have wooden farmhouse tables to rent as well.
